This years list of The Most Fascinating People of 2009 is nothing short of ridiculous. Barbara turned media whore when she announced yesterday that she'd have Adam Lambert and Kate Gosselin on her list of 2009's Most Fascinating People in America. She constantly berates outlets like TMZ and E! for celebrity gossip whoring, condemns Perez Hilton for his lack of compassion and the paparazzi for the dangerous situations they cause to celebs. Well.....Barbara I have news for you.....you're a hypocrite.

Just a brief example-
Adam Lambert- I personally have nothing against him, other than the fact in rehearsal for the AMA's he did not kiss or grope those poor men until the live cameras were on him, causing ABC to freak out. Rightfully so. And because of this and his make-up Barbara chose him over Taylor Swift- BW said "I had a rough time choosing between these two". I am not a huge fan of Taylor, however I respect the crap out of her. Let's compare the two:
Taylor- 6 AMA's, 5 CMT's, 8 Grammy Nom's, 3 ACMA's, 1 MTV Video, 3 People's Choice Awards. All in 2 years.
Adam- ZERO

the rest of the list.....Kate Gosselin, Glenn Beck, Tyler Perry, Lady Gaga, Brett Favre, Michael Jacksons Kids, Jenny Sanford (S.C. governors wife), Sarah Palin.

The only ones I genuinely agree with- Gaga..MJ's kids and Jenny Sanford.

WTF, weekend? Seriously. Tina Fey wins an Emmy. Dr. Horrible wins an Emmy. Serena Williams threatens bodily harm with a tennis ball. Madonna stays classy. Kanye West does not. Lady Gaga is a movable performance art freak. Jeter passes the Iron Horse, MJ is moved to tears and Beyoncé is, quite possibly, magic. Whew. That is a lot of shit to process in just two days. That’s like a month’s worth of awesome/crazy/WTF. It’s like Saturday and Sunday exploded and we haven’t even talked about Kristen Stewart’s new Kate Gosselin hairstyle. Madness, I tell you. MADNESS.

AMC has renewed Mad Men for a fourth season!!

Debi Mazar’s Dancing With the Stars debut is still three weeks out, but the actress has already won a pretty nifty prize from ABC: a recurring stint on Castle.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Mazar is joining the second-year dramedy as Paula Haas, book agent to Nathan Fillion’s modern-day Jessica Fletcher. She’ll first appear in October when she makes Castle an offer he’ll find hard to refuse. Accepting said offer, however, would cause a fair amount of upheaval in his life, particularly his relationship with Detective Beckett.

The good news for you Chuck-Blair fans is that Chuck is not really playing for both teams on the TV version of Gossip Girl (in the books he's definitely bisexual). The bad news is that Chuck's gay kiss is not doing Chuck and Blair's relationship any favors. Why? Because Gossip Girl's resident crazy lady (that's Blair, just so we're clear) tricks Chuck into kissing that boy, and Chuck's pissed after the fact. Don't panic, Chuck and Blair are not totally breaking up over this, but it does put a major kink in their relationship.

04/13 - Ethan's not the only one saying goodbye to the high school. Silver actually makes her exit in Tuesday night's episode as well. Because of her breakdown, little Silver can't show her face at school without being scrutinized, so she's heading off to an all girls Catholic school. Jessica teases, "As far as the recovery goes though, she's trying things out. When we come back, she's already on her medication. She's going through a routine instead of just being out with her friends and letting too much influence her, and let her emotions get to her too much and go into another episode. As far as the rest of the season, it's figuring out what works for her and getting back to Silver because she loses touch with that again." [...] Donna Martin returning to 90210 is by far the best thing that could've happened. Putting Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Donna back together is comedic gold, especially when the pair accidentally end up in a gay bar.
Gossip Girl:
04/13 - Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg, "17 Again") returns to the Upper East Side after undergoing a major transformation. Chuck and Nate find themselves at a major crossroads in their relationship as it pertains to their mutual interest in Blair. Serena finds her relationship with Gabriel (guest star Armie Hammer) growing more complicated.

He works at the Buy More (Best Buy) in the Nerd Herd but secretly goes on covert ops with Sarah (the blond) and Casey the Chuck Norris type partner of Sarah. Together they solve crimes involving Fulcrom (the bad guys). Whilst a myriad of other dramas occur with the supporting cast! an enjoyable 47 minutes of t.v.

smack in the middle of the finale the channel clicks over to Lipstick Jungle and Private Practice (which I should stop taping cause it sucks). Damn....gotta watch the rest later....

West Side Story is set to play a year run at the Palace Theater with previews starting Feb 23, 2009. I know what I'm getting Mom for Christmas!!

Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham has been tapped to play Miss Adelaide in the forthcoming Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls. She will join previously announced star Oliver Platt as Nathan Detroit in the new production, directed by Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo. Guys and Dolls will begin previews on February 3, 2009, at the newly refurbished Nederlander Theatre, and is set to open on March 1.
